Every volunteer must complete and pass a required annual background check.
Simply go to http://friscoisd.voly.org and fill out the required information.
Once all the statuses are green, email your approved background check to the Volunteer Coordinator at emersonbbcvolunteer@gmail.com. There is no charge to do the background check.
PIT CREW
•Loads and unloads props and equipment from the trailers/trucks
•Moves props and equipment on and off the field for the performances
•Drives self to events
MEAL CREW
•Helps distribute pre-game meals (arrive @ 3:45 pm at Band Hall)
•Helps distribute meals at contests (drives self to event)
•Clean up
CONCESSIONS
•Help prepare food, serve, and ring sales at football games
•Food Handler Permit is required
•Freshman parents required to sign-up at least once for concessions
CHAPERONES
•Ride the bus with students, take attendance; hand out snacks (contests)
•Guide students for seating and staging at games and contests
•Insert, remove, and store plumes; help on field as needed; assist students

Events will be opened to volunteers three weeks before the event on Sundays at 7:00 pm.

The first three football game events will be opened for volunteers on Sunday, 8/2.

Click on the event you want to volunteer for. It will take you to Sign-Up Genius where you will select the type of volunteer activity, enter your name, student’s name, your cell phone, and email.

This is a commitment, so we are relying on you to show up for the event you signed up for. Reminder emails and/or texts will be sent two days before the event.
